The following categories of personal data will be provided by your browser and automatically stored in our log files:
This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. If you do not provide us with the information specified above, you will not be able to access our website with your computer.

These cookies are required to operate our website. For example, this type of cookie is used to store your decisions about the settings for cookie use. You can prevent the use of these cookies by setting your browser accordingly. Please note that this may restrict or prevent the use of our website.
We, or other providers of marketing or other services or contents that are integrated on our website, may use what are known as marketing or tracking cookies. These types of cookies help analyse users’ interests across different websites and on our website. They are used to show personalised advertising or information that the user might find interesting. These cookies will identify your browser and computer. These cookies can also influence which websites are displayed, which you visit later. We may share this information with our social media and analysis partners. It is possible that our partners will be in a position to combine this data with other information. You may have provided this other data yourself when using services voluntarily or this data may have been collected there merely through use.
If you do not permit such cookies to be placed, you will receive less or no personalised advertising or information.
Further data processing is associated with the use of statistical cookies, which we will inform you about below:
This website uses functions from the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website and your visits to other website using tracking.
Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(A) of the GDPR, provided you have agreed to the storage of cookies when accessing our site in the “cookie bar” shown then. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

We have set up the function IP anonymisation on this website. This means your IP address will be shortened by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. Google will use this information on behalf of the user of this website to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports about website activities and to provide further services associated with website use and internet use to the website provider. The IP address transmitted within the scope of Google Analytics from your browser will not be brought together with other data by Google.
Use of additional services on our website
If you want to use additional services that we provide on our website we may need additional information from you. Depending on the reason for your visit or which information you want the
can change. Therefore, in addition to the preceding notices, please note the following information:
Making contact by email / email contact form
If you contact us by email or by using the contact form on our website to find out about us or to obtain advice, the disclosures you make will be stored to process the enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The basis for this collection is Art. 6(1) sentence 1 (f) of the GDPR. If you do not permit us to process this data, we will not be able to answer your email.
Event registration / Registration for the Interzoo Academy
If you register using the form on our website, the disclosures you make will be processed to perform the contract or to carry out pre-contractual actions. This processing is based on Art. 6(1) sentence 1(b) of the GDPR.
If you subscribe to a newsletter on our website, we will use what is known as the double opt-in process. This means that after entering your email address on our website you will receive a confirmation email. This email will check the email address you have entered. To do this, after receiving the email you will have to click on the confirmation link given in the email. Your email address is required and will be processed in the process. This information will allow us to check whether you are the holder of the given email address. If you do not use the confirmation link given in the email within 48 hours, the personal data recorded for the order will be erased.
We use the following service provider for our newsletter service:
We use the following service provider for our newsletter service “MailChimp”:
Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
This service organises the sending of newsletters. If you subscribe to a newsletter on our website, your personal data will be stored on servers of the Rocket Science Group in the USA.
We have concluded an agreement with the Rocket Science Group to outsource data processing. This agreement includes regulations that meet the requirements of the German data protection supervisory authorities for the use of services.
We also use the services of the service provider detailed above to analyse the sending of our newsletter. “Web beacons” or “tracking pixels” are used to do this. If you open an email sent by our service provider, the web beacon or tracking pixel in the email will open a connection to the service provider’s server.
This will transmit information about whether the message was opened or whether and which link you clicked in the email. Technical information, for example, the time of access, the IP address, the browser type and the type of operating system will also be transmitted. This information will only be used to carry out a statistical evaluation of newsletter dispatch.
The name of the “web beacon” or “tracking pixel” is identified by an individualised ID which is itself linked with the email address. Therefore, when it is activated the service provider can identify which recipient has opened the email.
Consent and withdrawal of consent for newsletter subscriptions
You give your consent to the processing of your personal data specified as described above for a newsletter subscription and newsletter analysis in accordance with Art. 6(1)(A) of the GDPR. You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect in the future as follows:

We may use external technical service providers to operate the website, who will work exclusively on our behalf and are not permitted to process personal data for their own purposes, in particular service providers for hosting, sending newsletters, as well as spam and misuse prevention. In this context we also comply with all the requirements of data protection law and oblige our service providers to do the same, as far as is necessary. Insofar as is necessary we will transmit your personal data to service providers we have commissioned or processors or supervisory authorities among others, in order to make it possible to provide our range, to provide additional services or to analyse how our range is used. Please note – as also described above – that these third parties may have access to your personal data.
We are subject to official, judicial or statutory requirements that may require us to transmit information to government agencies, courts or similar institutions. Such transmission may also be necessary to safeguard or defend rights. If we require your consent to a transmission, we will ask you individually in advance.
Transmission to third countries
We have described above whether and for what reason we process data in a third country (i.e. outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA)) or whether this occurs when utilising third-party services, or disclosing or transmitting data to third parties. In all other cases in which we process your personal data in a third country or transmit it there this only occurs in order to meet our pre-contractual or contractual obligations towards you, on the basis of your consent, a legal obligation applicable to us or on the basis of our legitimate interests.

Your personal data will be erased when our business relationship or your visit to our website ends. Please note that we are subject to retention and documentation obligations. These result from the German Commercial Code and the German Tax Code, among others. The retention obligation according to the German Tax Code is 10 years and according to the German Commercial Code, 6 years.
