        Newsletter subscription<\/strong><\/p>

        If you subscribe to a newsletter on our website, we will use what is known as the double opt-in process. This means that after entering your email address on our website you will receive a confirmation email. This email will check the email address you have entered. To do this, after receiving the email you will have to click on the confirmation link given in the email. Your email address is required and will be processed in the process. This information will allow us to check whether you are the holder of the given email address. If you do not use the confirmation link given in the email within 48 hours, the personal data recorded for the order will be erased.<\/p>

        This service organises the sending of newsletters. If you subscribe to a newsletter on our website, your personal data will be stored on servers of the Rocket Science Group in the USA.<\/p>

        We have concluded an agreement with the Rocket Science Group to outsource data processing. This agreement includes regulations that meet the requirements of the German data protection supervisory authorities for the use of services.<\/p>

        Newsletter analysis<\/strong><\/p>

        We also use the services of the service provider detailed above to analyse the sending of our newsletter. \u201cWeb beacons\u201d or \u201ctracking pixels\u201d are used to do this. If you open an email sent by our service provider, the web beacon or tracking pixel in the email will open a connection to the service provider\u2019s server.<\/p>

        This will transmit information about whether the message was opened or whether and which link you clicked in the email. Technical information, for example, the time of access, the IP address, the browser type and the type of operating system will also be transmitted. This information will only be used to carry out a statistical evaluation of newsletter dispatch.<\/p>

        The name of the \u201cweb beacon\u201d or \u201ctracking pixel\u201d is identified by an individualised ID which is itself linked with the email address. Therefore, when it is activated the service provider can identify which recipient has opened the email.<\/p>
